Casa Bellomo is located in the heart of Ortigia, a 50mq apartment at first floor of a historical estate. It can accomodate up to three guests. Carefully looked after, it features a living dining room with kitchen, a large bedroom and a bathroom with shower. There is also a typical balcony which faces San Martino street. The main characteristic of the apartment is definetly the combination of its central and quiet location.

Appena entrati in Casa Bellomo siamo subito stati felici della scelta fatta: arredo delizioso, curato nei minimi dettagli;
comfort di ogni genere; gentilezza dei proprietari, sempre a disposizione, che hanno saputo suggerirci degli ottimi locali nelle vicinanze. Lo consiglio a chi vuole immergersi in pieno nel cuore di un’isola magica come Ortigia.
Appartamento delizioso, pulitissimo e con tutti i confort situato a due passi dalla spiaggia e dal Duomo. Contesto signorile. Fabio e Grazia sono stati veramente fantastici e ci hanno accolto con tutto il calore che solo la gente del sud ti può dare. Tutte le nostre richieste sono state accontentate. Abbiamo già passato il contatto a dei nostri amici che hanno già prenotato per il mese di settembre. Ritorneremo presto anche noi, grazie.
A causa del Covid, quest'anno abbiamo optato per una vacanza nelle vicinanze e siamo stati fortunatissimi a trovare questa sistemazione. Posizione centralissima, pulizia accurata, comfort della stanza e cortesia del proprietario sono state le cose che ci hanno colpito di più. Soluzione ideale per chi vuole godere della meravigliosa Ortigia in tutto il suo splendore. Complimenti!!!

Beautifully renovated apartment, very stylish, clean and comfortable. The location is ideal, walking distance to all local attractions as well as to the beautiful beach of "Cala Rossa". The hosts are kind and very helpful, highly recommended for the perfect get-away in Ortigia.
The apartment is super nice and cozy! Everything was clean and the communication with Grazia and Fabio was super easy and nice. The location of the flat is in the heart of Ortigia so you can find everything by foot. We will be happy to come back anytime!

Everything was perfect for me from beginning to end , easy check in , fantastic location, and excellent communication always with my hosts who were always so quick and happy to help with any questions I had during my stay.
The apartment itself is very stylish and tastefully decorated , very well equipped and with everything you may need during your stay. It was immaculately clean and very well maintained, the bed very comfortable and the air conditioning fantastic :) everything was of a high standard and quality.
I found the apartment itself to be very quiet although close to many restaurants and bars , it was very peaceful inside. It’s ideally situated right next to the beach for swimming, which is a great advantage and very close also to the Duomo and other historic sites, superb location overall.
Fabio and Grazia are thoughtful and very kind hosts , I really appreciated their welcoming gestures, leaving drinks and water in the fridge and some typical Sicilian treats for my arrival, Grazia even baked me a cake :) I felt very lucky to find this Airbnb, it was one of the best experience I have had to date and I highly recommend to anyone travelling to Ortigia. I was sorry to leave, thank you again Fabio an Grazia for such a happy experience!
We (two people) spent 5 wonderful nights in Casa Bellomo in mid-May 2022.
The hosts are very kind and responsive to inquiries. The self-check in was smooth. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well-stocked on arrival and we appreciated a "welcome basket" of drinks and snacks. The location is perfect--a block from the beach: We highly recommend swimming in the sea! The apartment is in a relatively quiet part of Ortigia so we were not bothered by street noise, but there are many good restaurants within a few blocks. The spectacular Piazza Duomo is only a 10 minute walk. The modern furnishings and amenities are in new/perfect condition. The two main rooms are spacious. The front room has a well-stocked kitchen, a dining area, a daybed, and a closet with a washing machine and cleaning supplies. The bedroom includes a seating area, a flat screen TV, air conditioning, an adjoining bathroom, and a balcony. The balcony has a clothes line, and clothes dry quickly in the dry air. The mattress is like new and very comfortable. There is excellent temperature control: First, the apartment has traditional architecture with high ceilings, thick walls, and heavy doors and shutters. These keep the apartment naturally cool and quiet. Second, you can also open the balcony doors for ventilation. Third, the air conditioner also works very well. The bathroom is modern and includes a rainfall shower head. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast, and appreciated the induction stovetop, new cookware, and Nespresso coffee maker. We did a lot of research on hotels and apartments before booking this apartment, and we are very pleased with the comfort and value of Casa Bellomo.
Un très bel appartement spacieux à la décoration simple et épurée. Très bien situé dans une rue assez calme, loin de l’agitation. L’appartement est très propre, au premier étage, avec balcon. Vous trouverez tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour : lave linge, cuisine équipée, sèche cheveux, cordes à linge …
À deux minutes de la petite plage de Cala Rosa, de très bons restaurants à proximité ( juste en bas vous trouverez Cala Piada, un excellent petit resto).
Vous serez à 20/25 min de marche de la gare routière et ferroviaire.
J’ai vraiment adoré cet appartement, les hôtes sont extrêmement gentils et à l’écoute. On peut tout visiter à pieds, idéalement situé.
Appartamenti ristrutturato, accogliente, pulito, posizione fantastica
L'appartamento era molto bello, pulito, arredato con gusto e tranquillo. La posizione era fantastica: cinque minuti dal Duomo e dalla spiaggia. Bello anche il balconcino con sedie e affaccio sul vicoletto.
On the island there are three paid garages where you can park your car. Alternatively, it is possible to park in the side street of the seafront, paying attention to vertical signs. Another solution is the small free car park located on the seafront 100 meters from the Cala Rossa beach.
Certamente. L'isola è collegata al resto della città dal Ponte Umbertino e dal Ponte Santa Maria, che permettono l'accesso e l'uscita in auto. Tuttavia, è bene tener presente gli orari della ZTL (zona a traffico limitato). Difatti, all'ingresso dell'isola sono collocate delle apparecchiature automatiche che registrano gli accessi dei mezzi. In caso di inosservanza degli orari prefissati, sono previste delle sanzioni al Codice della Strada in base alla normativa vigente.
Yes, the Municipality of Syracuse, through the regulation approved with resolution of the City Council n. 136 of 11/28/2013 has provided for a tourist tax payable by subjects, not residing in the Municipality of Syracuse, who stay overnight in accommodation facilities located in the territory of the Municipality up to a maximum of 4 consecutive nights. For holiday homes there is an amount of 1.50 euros per person per day. It must be paid in cash at check-in.
The following are exempt from paying the tourist tax:
a) minors up to the age of twelve and adults over the age of 80;
b) invalids with total and permanent 100% incapacity for work and with the need for continuous assistance, not being able to carry out the daily activities of life and all the subjects referred to in art. 3 paragraph 3 of Law 104/92;
c) subjects who assist patients hospitalized in local health facilities, on the basis of one companion per patient; parents, or carers, who assist children under the age of eighteen who are hospitalized in health facilities in the area, for a maximum of two people per patient; in order to benefit from the exemption, the patient and their carers must - pursuant to articles 46 and 47 of the Presidential Decree no. 445/2000 and subsequent amendments – declare that the stay at the accommodation facility is aimed at the provision of health services to the patient or the need to provide assistance to the aforementioned patient (EXEMPTION FORM)
d) persons staying in accommodation facilities as a result of measures adopted by public authorities to deal with emergency situations resulting from calamitous or extraordinary events and for humanitarian relief purposes;
e) university students participating in cultural exchange projects;
f) the employees of the management of the accommodation facility where they carry out their work activity;
g) off-site university students enrolled at the University of Syracuse;
h) spouses on their honeymoon who exhibit suitable supporting documentation;
i) Subjects who have stipulated contracts for overnight stays in accommodation facilities before the entry into force of the contribution envisaged by this regulation. This exemption is effective until 31/12/2013;
l) coach drivers and tour leaders who provide assistance to groups organized by travel and tourism agencies. The exemption applies to each coach driver and tour guide for every 20 participants;
m) registered athletes, members of sports clubs who participate in federal tournaments held in the municipality of Syracuse, subject to certification to the accommodation facilities by the sports federations to which they belong indicating the competition for which attendance is required;
n) individuals staying at campsites, agritourisms and youth hostels;
o) Civil Protection volunteers who work in Syracuse on the occasion of events and demonstrations organized by the Municipal or Regional Administration or for environmental and humanitarian emergencies;
p) members of the state and local police forces, as well as of the national body of firefighters who stay for reasons of service;
q) subjects hosted free of charge by accommodation facilities, in order to promote tourist activities and sector offers for the benefit of the same, starting from 1 January 2014 and for a maximum limit of 12 nights per calendar year.
It is possible to check-in from 15:00 onwards. It is also possible to carry out self check-in using automation devices. The identification of the residents will take place through a video camera.
Check-out is done independently by guests by 11:00.
We are sorry, but for reasons of hygiene, your pet cannot accompany you during your stay at Casa Bellomo.
